Isn’t it frustrating when you spend your hard-earned cash in Nitro Nation to get a car plus a lot of time and more cash to upgrade it and tune it… just to see that other cars are working better?
It is, no doubt about that. I’ve been going through this myself multiple times.
So I started to reasearch more what cars I get and upgrade to prevent this in the future – and I thought it will be helpful for you if I share my thoughts on that here.

Best Street Clas Cars In Nitro Nation
I divided this list into the different classes to give you a better orientation. If you come up with any questions (or find a mistake), please just share your thoughts in the comments below 🙂
Class D Street
The Renault Clio V6 is a good choice in this class as well as the Volkswagen Scirocco. Both have a great performance on the 1/4 mile as well as a good acceleration. The Renault gets to 60 MPH in 6 seconds and runs the quarter-mile in 14.2s while the Volkswagen is a little bit faster with 5.7 seconds to 60 MPH and getting the quarter-mile in 13.8 seconds done. All other cars in this class are slower so having one of them will get you on the sunny side 🙂
Class C Street
Go with either the Mazda RX-7 or the Honda Civic. I personally prefer the Mazda a little more (Running the 1/4 mile in 13.4 seconds while getting to 60 MPH in 5.3 seconds), but this is just an individual decision – both cars will be a lot of fun and fast as well.
Class B/B1 Street
Now we’re getting in a class that has a lot of interesting cars to offer, but also more expensive – making a smart choice is here even more important. In my opinion this class is all about Audi and either the RS3 or the TT RS are the best cars to take. The TT RS is an evergreen in the community so there’s still nothing to complain about it.
When it comes to B1, it’s all about the Camaro here so either the Camaro SS or the Camaro Foose will serve you well.
Class A/A1 Street
I’d choose the Audi RS7 or the BMW M4 GTS over any other car here, simply because they are fast as lightning compared to the other ones. The Audi is somewhat slower when accelerating (it’s a big car though) and catches up on the distance, so if you have problems with that prioritize the BMW, but in the final time you won’t see much difference.

Now let’s talk about the race classes.
Class C/D Race
In my opinion, the Scirocco or the RX-7 that you should have when you followed my recommendation are totally fine here. If you want another small pint of gas you might consider getting the R34 Nismo, but only if you have the additional cash.
Class B/B1 Race
The Audi TT RS is here a beast as well so don’t mind taking it at any time.
Class A/A1/S
Like any other racing game McLarens are always great due to their extreme acceleration – the 650S or even better the 675LT are great and working wonders if you tune them right. If you don’t like modern sports cars that much and want pure power you can also go with the Dodge Demon, another really strong car.
Class S1
I think we don’t need to fight here, it’s either the Koenigsegg Regera or the McLaren P1 that take the crown here – just watch the global leaderboard to see which cars are like 90% of the Top 100 places 😉
